Social Media Coordinator (m/w/d)

We are currently looking for a talented social media professional to complement our brand marketing team (Global Brand Division) at the MYKITA HAUS in Berlin. This key role within our digital team is in charge of implementing the global communication strategy to the brand’s social media landscape, aiming to increase brand awareness, support growth targets, as well as building and nurturing a sustainable community. 
Our ideal candidate is a creative social media enthusiast with a professional track record and strong understanding of the attributes, values and visual identity of the MYKITA brand. Working in an interdisciplinary team and across departments, the social media coordinator has great communication skills, analytical strength and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.


  • Development of the brand’s global social media strategy in line with business objectives and budgets
  • Adaptation of the global communication calendar to the social media channels ensuring a consistent brand experience throughout digital touchpoints
  • Day-to-day content planning and allocation in close alignment with the online marketing coordinator, as well as the brand communication and corporate design team
  • Set-up and monitoring of targeted and goal-driven (cross-channel) paid social performance campaigns for various stakeholders including eCommerce and retail departments
  • Oversee and manage the allocated social media budget
  • Create actionable plans to promote key objectives as part of the brand marketing strategy
  • Attentive and service oriented community management
  • Coordination of all aspects of social media between departments and external parties
  • In-depth KPI tracking and monthly reporting
  • Implementation of new features, tools and processes to scale and optimise the social media results
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to further develop the company’s digital strategy and facilitate growths targets
  • Research and benchmarking in relevant fields of interest



  • Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications or similar
  • Three years of professional experience in a comparable role
  • Digital mindset and enthusiasm for social media
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Apple iWork, Google Analytics, Facebook Business and Data Studio as well as relevant multi-social posting platforms
  • General knowledge of SEO and SEM
  • High motivation and great team spirit
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English
