MYKITA | 032c – "SUSPICIOUS MINDS" FEATURING THE BEAR

Paris Fashion Week, backstage at the 032c SUSPICIOUS MINDS show. A lineup of sharply cast models – including Mona Tougaard, Mika Schneider, and Paul Hameline – slip into a wardrobe that defies zeitgeist and seasonality. Alpine codes clash with occult symbols. Daisies appear to melt into outerwear. And nestled among the chaos: BEAR, the latest edition in the ongoing MYKITA | 032c collaboration.

Now in its fourth iteration, the MYKITA | 032c design partnership continues to carve its own lane, somewhere between Berlin’s cultural undercurrents and Paris runway authority. Debuting at this FW25 show, BEAR is a wraparound silhouette crafted from ultralight stainless steel – a construction that demands over 80 manual steps and features MYKITA’s signature spiral hinge. Futuristic yet precise, BEAR fits right in among 032c’s dystopian dreamscape, capturing the spirit of something both familiar and ungraspable.
From the front row, a cast of culture’s current icons – including Ty Dolla $ign, Bloody Osiris, Becky G, Davido, Loli Bahia, and Luka Sabbat – watched as the collection interrogated the question of how to move on from the old and accept the new and unknown. Tied together by Michel Gaubert’s charged soundtrack – Fehlfarben’s Paul Ist Tot developing into Elvis’s Suspicious Minds – the runway was a statement in embracing that which is uncertain and likely to remain so.

Much like the collection itself, BEAR does not give answers. It explores movement – through shadow, into light, across boundaries of identity, function, and form. Spaced-out yet wearable. Technical yet intuitive.
Available in Matte Silver with Cobalt lenses, Camou Green with Holly Green lenses, Black on Black, and Burnt Orange with Bordeaux – BEAR is out now in stores and online.
