For the A/W 2014-15 season MYKITA and Damir Doma have designed a new feminine classic. DAWN is the most recent product of the ongoing design collaboration between the two brands and made its first public appearance during Damir Doma’s runway show at Paris Fashion Week.

DAWN was named after the legendary jazz singer Dawn Hampton and provides a contrast to its eccentric predecessors RITA and VIVIEN, whose shape and exaggerated volume is only just hinted at.

The delicate butterfly shape gives DAWN extravagant proportions, which are accentuated by unusual colour compositions. Terrazzo Brown combines mother-of-pearl and brown coloured particles in the material for a mosaic effect. Terrazzo Blue mixes dark blue and slate grey elements that together appear like a close-up shot of confetti.

DAWN is complemented by colourways Cloudy Brown, Cloudy Purple and Black with lenses in shimmery gold by time-honoured manufacturer Zeiss and available at MYKITA shops, the Damir Doma flagship store in Paris, as well as online at the MYKITA E-Shop.
