MYKITA FOR PALM ANGELS
Palm Angels is the definitive book on the L.A. skateboarding scene, capturing the style and street culture of the world's most elite communities of skaters. The mind behind the large-format photographs of skaters in Venice Beach and Manhattan Beach is the Italian photographer and art director Francesco Ragazzi. In the spirit of the photography taken of the legendary Z-boys of Dogtown, Ragazzi provides readers with a firsthand glimpse into skateboarding in its modern form, still very much infused with effortless style.
MYKITA for Palm Angels
"It was one picture I took one summer that made me go back to Los Angels over and over again. It was a vision in my mind, of blonde hair floating in the air, rays of light that capture bodies fighting over gravity. This image evokes the traditional representation of angels" explains Ragazzi.
The MYKITA for Palm Angels edition comes in a black presentation box imprinted with gold lettering, including the sunglasses CALYPSO in pitch-black with gold-flash lenses.
A friend of the HAUS, MYKITA teamed up with the creative mind to produce a special edition run of the Palm Angels book with a photo print, each hand-signed by the photographer and accompanied by a pair of MYKITA MYLON glasses.

With the exaggerated edges of its construction, accentuated by the deep position of the lenses, the frame has a sculptural feel reminiscent of minimalist skate structures.
Palm Angels is published by Rizzoli and includes an introduction by Pharrell Williams (known to the skate community as Skateboard P), who has been instrumental in popularizing the skate look and has propelled it all the way to the high streets of fashion capitals like Paris, New York, and Tokyo.
Best enjoyed in the sun navigating the halfpipe or what the streets have on offer, the frame protects against the sun and wind, while never skimping on style. A canvas tote bag illustrated with palm leaves and the signature logo plus an eyewear case make sure to carry the glasses comfortably in style.
