MYKITA frames are engineered from high-quality materials, designed to stand the test of time. Keeping your frames cool, dry and protected is the best way to maintain their pristine condition – each pair comes with a microfibre cloth for easy cleaning and a hard case for safe storage. Prolonged exposure to extreme heat or direct sunlight, such as on a car dashboard, can affect the colour and shape of acetate and MYLON® models. Our stainless steel frames prefer dry conditions, especially away from seawater. Make it a habit to store your glasses in their case and dry them with the cleaning cloth.

Material-Specific Eyewear Care

STAINLESS STEEL
Wipe down regularly with your cloth, avoiding harsh cleaners or running water. For a more thorough clean, or if your frames need adjustments, visit a MYKITA store or selected retailer.

ACETATE
Clean with your microfibre cloth and keep away from high temperatures (over 40°C/104°F). If the shine starts to fade, our stores can professionally polish the frames for you.

MYLON®
A quick wipe will handle most cleaning, but for more stubborn dirt or makeup, use warm water and a soft brush with mild soap. Solvents or alcohol-based cleaners may damage the material.

CARING FOR YOUR LENSES
Always place your glasses with the lenses facing up. Use only a microfibre cloth to polish them and, if necessary, a specialist lens spray like Zeiss Cleaning Solution instead of soap or solvents.

COMPLIMENTARY MYCARE SERVICES
Visit any MYKITA Store to deep clean your frames with an ultrasonic bath and have them re-adjusted for a perfect fit. We’ll even replace certain parts, such as silicone nose pads and temples.
