E-Commerce Manager (all genders)

In this position, you will coordinate the online business for markets in Europe, North America and Canada and drive further international expansion. You will drive online sales growth by developing and executing e-commerce strategies, optimizing our online product offerings, and ensuring a seamless and impactful digital customer experience. We are a small, collaborative team where you'll need to work independently, and you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact.  

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will actively contribute to the development and execution of our e-commerce strategy to increase online sales, with the opportunity to bring your own ideas and make a real impact. 
  • Managing and continuously optimizing our online product portfolio, including visual merchandising, strategic product placement, and inventory management, will be key aspects of your role. You will ensure that new products are effectively launched and promoted online.
  • Conducting regular audits and troubleshooting will be essential to continuously improve the performance and user experience of our webshop. 
  • Working closely with our marketing team, other departments, and sales channels, you will align digital marketing efforts with the e-commerce strategy, ensuring consistent brand communication and seamless execution of all e-commerce activities.
  • You will collaborate with external agencies and service providers to efficiently manage areas such as website development, performance marketing, and SEO. 
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitors, and e-commerce performance will enable you to extract actionable insights, continuously adapt our strategy, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Additionally, you will enhance e-commerce customer service processes to ensure a first-class customer experience. 

PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, or a related field is required. 
  • You should have 5 years of experience in e-commerce or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing online sales channels.
  • Strong project management skills are essential, along with experience in coordinating cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills are necessary, with the ability to identify trends, solve complex problems, and implement data-driven improvements.
  • A keen eye for detail, coupled with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment, is crucial.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and digital marketing tools to drive sales and improve user experience is expected.
  • Fluency in English is required, while German language skills are considered a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team and a hands-on mentality to drive projects forward.
