We are seeking a highly motivated Licensed Optician to join our dedicated team and contribute to our continued growth.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our international clientele, guiding them through the selection of our high-quality eyewear, and actively promoting our products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Expertly sell MYKITA’s premium frames and lenses to a diverse clientele, tailoring  recommendations to individual needs.
  • Provide eyewear dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and maintenance, with comprehensive training provided to ensure proficiency.
  • Represent MYKITA’s brand, vision, and values, consistently upholding our commitment to quality and innovation.
  • Deliver the highest standard of empathic customer service, creating a personalized and memorable experience for each customer.
  • Perform precise lens measurements and manage the ordering process
  • Handle administrative tasks efficiently, supporting the smooth operation of the store.

PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid New York State optical dispensing license is required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a retail optical environment.
  • Passion for consulting and selling high-end eyewear to an international clientele.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and timely approach to email correspondence.
  • Highly motivated, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Lens edging skills are beneficial, though not required.
