EXPLORING THE WORLD THROUGH MARK BORTHWICK'S LENS
The MYKITA 2014 campaign was the result of a friendly gathering of bubbly friends, family and models shot by photographer Mark Borthwick in the otherworldly landscapes of Lanzarote. During the shoot, the multi-talented artist set up a vintage Super 8 camera to film the models while they posed – or better said, performed – for the photographs. The result is a series of short-films that succeeded in capturing the surreal atmosphere of the various settings from the shoot and the characteristic spontaneity of Mark Borthwick's work.
